Dirty Rotten Law is a celebration of the lighter side of law and the remarkable people involved in it, from every walk of life. It is a tribute to everyone who has ever stepped into a courtroom, opened a lever-arch file which refused to close again, deleted their perfected work, survived a late-night deadline, spilt beer on their laptop, said "no further questions" or "in my submission," or wondered how on earth what happened last year, last week or last night became today’s legal problem.
The law can be demanding, frustrating, exhausting, absurd and sometimes hilarious, despite the often difficult circumstances that bring people to court. Law, like life, is rarely tidy, often crazy. and not always fair. Barristers, solicitors, judges, legal executives, paralegals, court staff, witnesses, jurors, litigants and law students all know that feeling. To every one of you, we tip our wig.
Despite its eccentricities, we love the law. Not because it's perfect (it's not), but because it matters. It protects us, challenges us, bewilders us, drives us crazy, makes us laugh, makes us cry, and every now and then produces outcomes beyond the extraordinary.
It's Dirty Rotten Law, and we love it.

Dirty Rotten Law celebrates that world through original clothing, gifts and designs celebrating the wit, humanity and glorious absurdity of legal life and of the many amazing people who walk through the courtroom doors. Some, we hope, will make you smile knowingly. Others may make you laugh. All are created with genuine affection for the legal profession and the people who make it work, and for everyone who wants to know a little more about them and the legal world around them.
Behind it all is Dirty Rotten Law Judge - our resident observer of legal life. Sometimes wise and with more than a few stories to tell, Dirty Rotten Law Judge no longer sits in judgment, but rather dispenses love, peace and harmony, enjoys a festival or two, and sits in amused contemplation of the wonderful, chaotic world of law.
